menu這個品牌創立於1979年，開創時並不叫menu而是一間Danish Steel House提供steel products給catering industry使用，在1998年才轉型為現在大家認知的menu也在當時請到現任的主要設計師Pernille Vea 。目前設計團隊主要核心以Pernille Vea、Jakob Wagner and Christian Bjørn三人為主。
